Shopping Trip 4/3/10 (OOTD & FOTD). :)

Soooo. As you guys know, I went shopping to spend my birthday money recently. I took a few cute photos, that i'd figured I would share with you guys, this includes and OOTD and FOTD. :)

First here's the makeup I wore. I just did a really neutral eye with really bright lips...the camera doesn't pick it up well though.

Anyways...I used:

1. Model Co. Shadow Box in Antiqua (as highlight)

2. Maybelline Designer Chocolates Quad (used the lid, browbone, and outercorner color)

3. Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadows in Not Just Nudes (lightest shade as base and under eye)

4. Maybelline Mineral Power Blush in Gentle Pink

5. Benefit High Beam

6. Revlon Moondrops Lipstick in Blase Apricot

Didn't wear foundation or anything because it was soooo hot and would have just melted off. Haha.

Funny faces for you guys! :) these are some sunglasses I picked up at an outdoor vender. only 5 dollars! :)

Sooo. this is what I wore. Just had my hair pulled back.

1. White Generic Tanktop

2. White Sofees (shorts)

3. White polka dotted dress from Wet Seal

4. Red and White Candy Stripe Wedges from Payless (SUPER CUTE! they remind me of pin up shoes and have a cute bow on top, I got them last summer I think, so comfy tooo!)

5. Clear teardrop necklace from Body Central

Sooo yeah, It was really hot outside. Uhmm.

My little brother...he is actually much cuter...he was focused on his psp though, and I randomly told him to smile. :/

So yeah! That was my shopping trip, we also went to a pizza/pasta/salad restaurant, and it was soooo gooddddd. lol.

My Birthday Celebration! :)

So...if you read my recent update post, you'll know that i'm trying to do more vlogs...or blogs...that are like vlogs...? I don't know. Anyways, I figured this would be nice start to kick it off, so here's what I did on Sunday the 28th...the day before my birthday! :)

I had a really small birthday this year, It was just me, my two best friends, and my mother. We went to a small local dumpling store and got dumplings, pork hot buns, noodles, and soup....all of which were AMAZING! Anyways, yeah, and there we just did presents and cake. :)

This was the present from my friend candace. Haha, the wrapping was hard to get off, but it was sooooooo cute and springy! Anyways... I just wore a blue frilly top over a black tank with silver hoops and neutral makeup.

After getting it open....

I got really happy because she ended up getting me a HUGE cupcake mug. Shockhorror. If you didn't know...there are two things that I'm obssessed with in the world....Hello Kitty...and Cupcakes. Like, literally OBSESSED. Anyways, so it was like love at first site with it...and inside were some cherry sours in a hello kitty tin....this is why she's my best friend. haha. I loved it...she also gave me OPI Russian Navy nail polish, and some jewelry. :)

Then...I opened my best friend Bexx's presents, and it was soo cute. She made me a poster that had all our past memories on it, from like A-Z (i've been best friends with her for 9 years of my life). Then the card was like this...

with 15 dollars in cash. She is pretty darn creative. Then she gave me an NYC Eyelash Curler...which I LOVE! And NYC Matte Bronzer in Sunny, because everyone raves about it, so she figured I would love it...which I do! :) No pictures of that but still.

Haha, all of us with the fish...yesh...they had fish there...Candace said they jumped at her...hahahaha.

So from left to right there's Bexx, Me, and Candace. I know...you're jealous...because we're so cool. Hehe.

I love my friends more than anyone possibly could know, I've been best friends with Bexx for 9 years and best friends with Candace for 2 years. We'll be best friends forever...I know it! :)

Mini Update? :)

So, I figured I'd do a bit of a mini update now!

So...first off, I'm going shopping tomorrow ...YAY! I finally get to go spend my birthday cash and such. There's a few makeup and hair items I want, but other than that I'm not too sure what else I'm going to get.

Also...

IT'S SPRING BREAK!

I'm sooo happy and excited! Finally, a nice break from school.

I wanted to try a few new things over break too...

1. I'm going to attempt to wear my hair wavy/curly, it's not super curly since I got my hair japanese straightened, but it still has a wave to it, so i'm going to get a few products and try that out, because I really want to learn to limit the amount of heat I use on my hair. So i'm might let you guys know how that goes.

2. I'm going to try a few new things with my blog too... I want to start doing like vlogs, like things I did during the day (if I did something fun) and events and parties and just things like that. Because I feel like my blog is all makeup, and I don't really let you guys see my personality, so yeah. I'm also going to attempt to do outfit of the days, so we'll see how that works out.

So yeah, i guess we'll see how the changes work out, and i love you guys, and see you later! :)

MY BIRTHDAYY! :)

Today was my birthday, I left school early and went shopping with my mother. It was lovely and happy-making. I bought some pretty things and I'm going shopping again Saturday so I'll have a birthday haul for you guys coming up soon. Love you guys thanks for following my blog! :)

Lipstick Collection, Swatches and Reviews. :)

It's such a beautiful day outside that i'm like literally sitting on my driveway blogging this right now.

I've wanted to do this post for a while now because I think they're really helpful, but yeah.

So...

Here's my lipstick collection and swatches! :)

This is going by color and tint not brand by the way.

Here's my bare lips with just chapstick on.

Ok, first lipstick is Revlon's Nude Attitude.

It's a nude color with peach undertones.

This is a matte lipstick which i'm not a big fan of, it really like accentuates the wrinkles in my lips, but it has nice coverage...and it's not too drying.

Second lipstick is Mac's Creme D' Nude.

It's a nude color with more pink undertones.

This formula is AMAZING. It's of course the infamous creamsheen formula so it glides on wonderfully. It is a bit too pale for me but it's still a nice lipstick. Good coverage, but it wears off easily and it's one major flaw is that it melts and breaks easily, so I have to be really careful with it.

This next one is Mac's Marquise D'.

It's neutral nude pink color with subtle shimmer.

...LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. This lipstick came out with the Blonde, Brunette, Redhead Collection a while ago. It's a lustre and it's B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. I actually broke mine a few months ago, but I'm going to depot it and buy a backup from ACW too so that I never run out of it...It's just amazing and smooth. A bit sheer but creamy and a nice wearable everyday color.

Up next is Rimmel London's Airy Fairy.

It's a nice baby pink color with mauve or purple undertones.

It's a creme formula with a slight matte finish. This was my first lipstick ever and all that's left is a little nub. I love the formula though, it's creamy, moisturizing, and extremely pigmented. The color is beautiful and a great everyday lipstick, I always have this on hand, because if I can't choose a lipstick I can slick this on and have a nice natural look. It has great coverage too.

Then there's Maybelline's Born With It.

It's a baby pink color with subtle shimmer.

This is not a favorite of mine. It's from the ColorSensational line and everyone raved about it, but I just don't like it. It accentuates wrinkles, wears of easily and the cake scent drives me crazy because it's soooo sweet smelling. It's pigmented though and gives nice shine and a beautiful color, I just really don't like it.

Ignore the pluto pimple beside my lip I meant to retouch that out. -_-

This next one is Mac's Warm Me Up.

It's a neutral darker pink color with peach undertones.

It's a amplified creme formula. I thought I wouldn't be able to wear this because of the formula, but I wear this almost everyday! It's become one of my favorite lipsticks! I love it! It's creamy, long-wearing, doesn't transfer when eating or anything and has amazing coverage. It came out with the warm and cozy collection that came out a little while ago, but if you can still get your hands on it...then I definitely recommend you do.

Up next is NYC'S Mousse.

It's a neutral light bronze color with pink undertones with subtle shimmer.

I don't wear this often but it's a beautiful wearable color. It's very creamy but has sheer coverage. It's not too drying and it's very cheap! It's only major downside is the packaging. If NYC ever fixes their packaging I'll be in love!

Okay, now we have Rimmel London's Birthday Suit.

It's a neutral dark bronze color with peach undertones and noticeable shimmer.

This is like a darker more bronze version of NYC'S Mousse. It's somewhat sheer but still has the wonderful formula of Airy Fairy. I like to wear this over my nude lipsticks to give a little color so that I don't look dead. It's a pretty color and definitely a love of mine.

Then we have Revlon's Blushed.

It's a dark pink burgundy color with noticeable shimmer.

It's a great fall color but I don't wear it that often because It's so dark. But it is a beautiful color and I love to wear during fall and winter. It's creamy and has great coverage and it's very pigmented. But it can be a bit drying.

Once again sorry for the blurry picture ^^.

Next is Revlon's Blasé Apricot.

It's a bright coral color with peach undertones.

It's a creme formula with a slight matte finish. This is my favorite bright color for spring! It's pigmented, has great coverage, and it's not drying at all! So, if you're looking for nice coral color to wear I definitely recommend this one!

The intensity of the color doesn't show well in the photo.

Then there's Almay's Red.

Its a cherry red color with subtle shimmer.

It's a bit sheer and it has gold sparkle shimmers in it. It's really pretty and not very drying. It wears off alot though and feathers alot. Pretty color though, but I don't wear reds too much.

Last but not least is Rimmel London's Alarm.

It's a bright hollywood red.

It's a creme color with absolutely no shimmer and a slight matte finish. It's really bright, pigmented, and pretty. And it has the same formula as the Airy Fairy lipstick, so it smells good, is moisturizing, has great staying power, and is smooth and creamy. Over all a perfect red lipstick and so cheap too! :)

Sorry for the super messy swatch...at that point I was just slapping em' on. :/

Mini Collective Haul (MAC, Drugstore, OPI, etc.) and Acrylics. :)

I'm doing a small collective haul right now! 

It'll probably be my last haul for a little while because my birthday is the 29th of this month and I'm just going to buy stuff then.

So, I'll do a haul then, but before that there probably won't be another haul.

So I got a new Maybelline quad in Designer Chocolates #40 because my sister ruined my Chai Latte quad. :(

My favorite quad! So, I decided to try Designer Chocolates instead.

Then I got the Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadows in Not Just Nudes #710. It's nice-ish. I'm excited to try it, but the 2 last shades on the right are a little bit too dark. I'll probably do a review on this sometime soon.

Also I finally stopped by a MAC counter to get a lipstick that  i've been wanting for a while now. I got this mostly because 'Lollipop26' aka Laura said that it was one of her favorite nudes, which I don't own alot of. Soo...I picked up Creme D' Nude which is a creamsheen lipstick. It's really pretty. :)

Also, I got my acrylics done! And to go with them I bought myself an adorable ring that i've been wearing everyday since, that I got from Body Central.

Also, I did get an OPI nail polish, but I didn't take pictures sorry! I ended up getting Lincoln Park at Midnight though.. :)

Also, does anyone know how long MAC collections usually stay out on the market? Because I won't have the money until the 29th, but I really want to get 'Blooming Lovely' lipstick and 'Petals and Peacocks' lipstick from the 'Give Me Liberty of London' collection, but I'm not sure how long it'll last. :/ If you know, please tell me. Thanks! :)
